Berkay Turancı holds a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU). He has spent most of his career shipping mobile products at scale — iOS, Android, and the backend systems behind them — and leading engineering teams. Most recently he was Engineering Manager at EKOS.AI (2022–2026). His recent focus is open-source tooling for AI coding agents; the recurring thesis is that the agents are already capable and the gap is in the infrastructure around them.
